Though the location was convenient, a few issues arose with room cleanliness and maintenance, which slightly marred an otherwise lovely experience.

Positive, The staff were incredibly attentive, especially the receptionist, Çem, who provided us with a great room swap when there was an issue. The spacious room had two comfortable beds, free water, and lovely views from the terrace. It’s super close to Galata Tower, making it easy to explore the area. 😊

The stay was fantastic, especially as a solo traveler exploring the enchanting attractions of Istanbul. My room offered a gorgeous view over the city, truly making it a memorable experience. I had a particularly comforting moment when the hotel arranged help for me after a rough taxi ride, showing genuine care. Plus, I appreciated the breakfast at the nearby cafe, which had a nice variety and welcoming staff.

Opt for a room on higher floors for better views and reduced street noise, especially on weekends.

My sister and I loved the spaciousness of our room with stunning views! The bed was super comfy, and we really appreciated the daily cleaning and free water. the bar area was nice for winding down after exploring the city. Just wished there were more breakfast options. it was a bit limited.

I had a lovely stay at Galata Greenland Hotel, where every staff member was warm and welcoming. The spacious room had breathtaking views of the Galata Tower and across to Sultanahmet, with a huge, comfortable bed ensuring restful nights.

The staff genuinely treated us like special guests, showing exceptional kindness throughout our stay. The location made exploring historic sites quite easy—everything was a short walk away. breakfast could use some improvement. the options felt limited and didn’t match the overall quality of the hotel. Noise from the street was noticeable at night, especially during weekends, which might disrupt light sleepers.

My room was on the first floor, making it pretty dark since the street is narrow, and the mattress was too firm for comfort. I found a lack of outlets near the bed and only one light switch at the entrance made things a hassle. The bathroom, despite its spaciousness, felt humid, with no shelves for belongings, and I dealt with a clogged sink and leakage from the toilet. I could hear noises from adjacent rooms and the surrounding streets were steep and sometimes noisy. Lastly, I had some issues with the cleanliness of linens, a couple of stained towels and sheets were overlooked during my stay.

my recent stay at the galata greenland was fantastic! the superior double room was spacious, and i loved the quick access to the metro and galata bridge. staff members were exceptional, always ready to assist with a smile.
